These Terms govern use of the No Cooking Clue website (the “Site”), operated by Techtix. By using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.
1. About the Site
No Cooking Clue is a recipe and family-food website. Its content is provided for general information, education and entertainment. The Site does not provide personalised medical, dietary, nutritional or professional advice.
2. Children
Children may browse the Site and use recipes with appropriate supervision from a parent, guardian or responsible adult. Children under 13 must not submit personal information, contact us independently or subscribe to the newsletter themselves. A parent or guardian may subscribe using the adult’s own email address.
3. Safe and lawful use
You agree not to:
- use the Site unlawfully, fraudulently or in a way that harms another person;
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Site, accounts, servers or data;
- introduce malware, automated scraping, abusive traffic or security attacks;
- misrepresent your identity or relationship with Techtix;
- copy or commercially exploit substantial parts of the Site without permission; or
- use recipes or instructions without appropriate judgement, supervision and safety precautions.
4. Intellectual property
Unless otherwise stated, the Site’s branding, original text, photographs, graphics, recipes and other original content belong to Techtix or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.
You may view the Site and print or save a reasonable number of recipes for personal, non-commercial household use. You may share links to public pages. Republishing, selling, systematically copying or presenting substantial Site content as your own requires prior written permission.
5. Recipe results and availability
Ingredients, appliances, altitude, technique, substitutions and kitchen conditions vary. We do not promise that every recipe will produce identical results or be suitable for every person. You are responsible for checking ingredients, instructions, equipment and cooking temperatures before use.
6. Third-party services and links
The Site may link to or use third-party services, including Brevo for newsletters and providers used for hosting or fonts. Third-party services are controlled by their respective operators and may have separate terms and privacy policies. A link does not necessarily mean that Techtix endorses every statement, product or service on the linked site.
7. Website changes and availability
We may correct, update, suspend or remove Site content or functionality. We do not guarantee that the Site will always be available, uninterrupted, secure or free from errors.
8. Liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including applicable consumer rights. Subject to that restriction, the Site and its content are provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Techtix is not responsible for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of, or reliance on, the Site.
You remain responsible for food safety, allergies, dietary suitability, adult supervision, equipment safety and decisions based on Site content. Please read the Recipe, Allergen and Safety Disclaimer.
9. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy explain how personal information and website technologies are handled.
10. Governing law
These Terms do not limit mandatory rights under the laws that apply where you live. Subject to those rights, matters connected with Techtix’s UK operations are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and matters connected with its British Columbia operations are governed by the laws applicable in British Columbia and Canada.
11. Changes
We may update these Terms by posting a revised version with a new “Last updated” date. Continued use after an update means that the revised Terms apply from the effective date, to the extent permitted by law.
